Palos Township Seeking Applicants for Palos Fire Protection District Board of Trustees

The Palos Township Board is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Palos Fire Protection District Board of Trustees.

The Palos Fire Protection District Board of Trustees consists of five (5) members appointed by the Palos Township Board. The job of the Palos Fire Protection District Board of Trustees is to oversee the operations and finances of the Fire District. The Trustees meet in person once per month at the Fire Protection District Headquarters.

In order to serve on the PFPD Board of Trustees, you must live within the boundaries of the district as follows:

• Northern Boundary: The Cal-Sag Channel
• Southern Boundary: 135th Street
• Eastern Boundary: 76th Avenue
• Western Boundary: Will-Cook Road
