Help with Medicare Questions

SHIP (Senior Health Insurance Program) is a free counseling service for seniors and Medicare recipients who may need additional information on Medicare coverage. Trained volunteers provide one-on-one help with Medicare questions, Medicare supplement insurance, Medicare Advantage plans as well as Medicare claims/appeals, Medicare Beneficiary Rights and Guarantees in addition to being versed in Long Term Insurance coverage.

SHIP counselors receive their training through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Insurance. Counselors do not sell or solicit insurance products.

The Palos Township office located at 10802 S. Roberts Road, Palos Hills offers the SHIP counseling service. If you have a question regarding Medicare, or would like to speak to the SHIP counselor, contact Bernadette Orr at the Palos Township offices, (708) 598-4418. Appointments will be scheduled with the assigned SHIP counselor, Phil Castrogiovanni (Phil Cas).
