The 2008 Cook County Vehicle Stickers for residents of unincorporated Palos Township are available now at the Township office, 10802 S. Roberts Road, Palos Hills. All residents in unincorporated Cook County must purchase a vehicle sticker for every vehicle in their household, including those that are kept in a garage.
Seniors who have purchased a vehicle sticker in 2007, and have not purchased a new or used car, do not need to purchase a new vehicle sticker. The current vehicle sticker is good as long as you own the car.
Stickers must be purchased by July 1, 2008. If residents purchase their stickers after July 1, 2008, they must pay a penalty which is double the sticker fee in most cases.
To purchase a sticker, you will need to provide the following:
1) Valid Drivers License
2) Vehicle registration which has the VIN number. VIN # is required
3) License Plate Number
4) Bill of Sale - if you have purchased a new vehicle
